Ahhhh! This reminds me of my childhood like crazy. Playmobil was my JAM from 4th-8th grade. Not gonna lie, bought the giant Victorian-like house. They are so versatile as toys. Smart engineering. Ahh gotta love the Germans. This is a German brand, right? Yes, I could Google it (which I will do after I post this comment) but something more endearing about relying on memory... wouldn't you say? :)

tmd~i actually found out they were german when i asked about a playmobil set titled "first day of school," in which two "kids" were holding what looked like large carrots in their hands, ha. come to find out, these "carrots" were depicting a german tradition: on the first day of school in germany, kids receive a cone shaped bag, called a "SCHULTUETE" (pronounced Sch-oo-l-toot-e), which is filled by their parents (and teachers, too) with all kinds of goodies...you learn something new every day ;)
